The Organizing Committee has the pleasure of inviting you to attend the   9^th Eurosummer School on Biorheology & Symposium on Micro and Nano Mechanics and Mechanobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems (BIORHEO2026), which will be held at the International Home of Scientists ”F. Joliot-Curie”, located at the resort "St. Constantine and Elena" near Varna, Bulgaria, September 3^rd - September 5^th, 2026. The meeting is organised by the Bulgarian Society of Biorheology in cooperation with the Institute of Mechanics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and the European Society for Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation (E.S.C.H.M.). 

The 9th Summer School BIORHEO2026 is being organised this year to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Bulgarian Society of Biorheology, established in 2001.

The meeting aims to get closer to clinical, applied and fundamental biorheological, micro mechanical and mechanobiological studies, promising new therapeutic developments and to focus researchers on the influence of the mechanical forces on cells,  tissues and biological systems. and instrumentation development.

The meeting aims to ensure continuity of the previous EuroSummer Schools of Biorheology, held every three years from 2003 to 2024 in Sofia, Varna and Borovets, Bulgaria, and to strengthen international cooperation and contacts in this field. Last but not least, the meeting also aims to encourage students, PhD students and young researchers in their training.
