The 7th European Summer School of Biorheology and the Symposium on Micro, Nanomechanics and Mechanonobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems (BIOREO2021) was held at the International Home of Scientists “Frederick Joliot-Curie” in the resort "St. Konstantin and Elena" near Varna from August 28 to August 31, 2021. This was the eigth meeting organized by the Bulgarian Society of Biorheology in cooperation with the European Society of Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation (E.S.C.H.M.) and co-organized by the Institute of Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The meeting was held two months after the 2^nd  Joint Meeting of  the three societies - the European Society of Clinical Hemorheology, the International Society of Clinical Hemorheology  and the International Society of Biorheology - ESCHM-ISCH-ISB 2021, held in July 2021 in Fukuoka, Japan.

Biorheo2021 was supported by the National Science Fund (BNSF) of the Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria- project grant КП-06-МНФ/1 from 18.08.2021

The 6th European Summer School of Biorheology and the Symposium on Micro, Nanomechanics and Mechanonobiology of Cells, Tissues and Systems (BIOREO2018) was held at the International Home of Scientists “Frederick Joliot-Curie” in the resort "St. Konstantin and Elena" near Varna from August 29 to September 1, 2018. This was the seventh meeting organized by the Bulgarian Society of Biorheology in cooperation with the European Society of Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation (E.S.C.H.M.) and co-organized by the Institute of Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. The meeting was held two months after the 19th Conference of the European Society of Clinical Hemorheology and Microcirculation in July 2018 in Krakow, Poland.
